Director Consumer Credit Card Visa Singapore

Job Description:
The in-country Product Director will develop and implement the credit product strategy for Visa Singapore in an effort to grow the key performance indicators of cards, payments volume, total volume, market share, PCE penetration and gross revenue targets. A primary focus is to engage with key card issuers and identify product development opportunities for Visa in Singapore
Responsibilities

Grow Visa’s market leadership on cards in Singapore and by enabling continued growth of key clients.
Achieve client specific product and volume targets as per agreed budget targets
Partner with business development mangers in identifying high potential new business opportunities to launch/ upgrade credit products and provide product support from the initial pitch to their public launch and in the ongoing development of the business
Actively consult with, and provide product knowledge and expertise to the sales team in Singapore to win new mandates for Visa in Singapore
Drive technology and alliance partners and develop solutions / business opportunities that will provide value added services to Visa clients in an effort to support new product launches, issuer customization, and activation and usage programs.
Manage A&P initiatives and the relevant budgets associated with these items to ensure due process is followed and that initiatives are delivered on time and within agreed budget
Utilize industry, consumer purchasing behavior, consumer research and customer knowledge to seek out new business opportunities in Singapore for the debit product category
Develop compelling, differentiated and relevant product plans that leverage Visa’s system, IP, brand/marketing program and partnership assets to provide competitive advantage
Support growth of Visa credit portfolio in Singapore with a focus on driving online and international usage and online channels
Working closely with Singapore team, manage day to day implementation and execution of credit product strategy / plans on time and within budget.
Interface with clients from time to time assisting them with credit product support and pushing forward the credit agenda
Being a credit products advocate in the Singapore, work with cross functional partners to ensure that credit considerations, programs and product pilots/ developments are top of mind

Qualifications

Professional
8-10years experience in retail banking/ consumer cards businesses
Business degree/ MBA.
Sales & Marketing Skills
Strong negotiating skills
Presentation skills
Payments Industry knowledge or experience
Good understanding of credit products and services
Strong appreciation of technology

Technical
Sound knowledge of banking and payment card systems and processes
Data processing and analysis
Financial management
Project management
Computer literate with PowerPoint, Excel, Word Outlook and internet skills

Business
Excellent Relationship Manager with general sales experience.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong relationship management skills.
Entrepreneurial with ability for initiative
Self-driven, team player.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, coupled with demonstrated negotiation and business development skill
