Job Description:
Leads planning, development and integration of external marketplace knowledge (consumer, customer, competitor) to enable growth strategies and tactics within AMA. Supports the go-to-market process and partners with the business unit to ensure the voice of the consumer and marketplace understanding informs development, optimization and analysis of product, marketing programs and retail initiatives within AMA. Drive development of annual research plan and contribute to long term roadmap.
Key Results:
•Leads the development of an externally-oriented culture in AMA for LS&Co. that builds superior insight into brands target consumers, competitors and customers.
•Provides strategic thought leadership around the business implications of external consumer and marketplace knowledge and ensures that it is built into strategic planning and decision making. Ensures that external marketplace fact base supports and drives strategic growth agenda.
•Delivers timely and integrated analyses leveraging both quantitative and qualitative research to provide a systematic, ongoing understanding of the external environment affecting the brands, and key actions senior management must take to win in a rapidly changing and increasingly competitive marketplace.
•Proactively identifies business opportunities based on consumer, marketplace and business expertise. Drives insights agenda to inform key business decisions and enable growth.
•Develops strong and effective working relationships within the function and the AMA LS & Co. team as a critical enabler to delivering growth in capabilities and insights.
