Job Description:
Expedia Asia is looking for exceptionally talented individuals to join our Online Marketing team. As the Director of SEO, you will be a central member of the marketing team, with a highly visible role within the organization and an opportunity to influence how Expedia Asia runs its entire user acquisition business. • Drive overall success of the Online Marketing group by delivering against SEO channel goals and contributing at a senior level to overall direction
• Create and deliver on SEO strategy for Expedia Asia that can be leveraged across multiple points of sale, including innovation, analysis, measuring and reporting on initiatives
• Manage a team of SEO specialists to deliver against the SEO strategy
• Manage SEO Team's professional performance and progress
• Select, negotiate and manage vendor relationships necessary to grow the SEO channel
• Define channel performance targets and evaluate the team and channel against those targets
• Build and manage quarterly forecast and accruals to ensure revenue and expense targets are met in accordance with channel targets
• Create a team environment that encourages agility, including frequent testing, identifying and learning from new approaches
• Collaboration with Product and Engineering teams to ensure SEO requirements are built into the product
• Evangelize SEO across the Expedia Asia organization by sharing initiatives, best practices, and results
• Evangelize SEO across the organization to secure the collaboration of other channels in order to maximize the ROI of projects.
Requirements
• 7-10 years SEO experience, preferably in ecommerce
• Travel experience a plus
• Proven track record building a high performing team
• Proven track record building an SEO strategy from scratch
• Detail-oriented, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional negotiation and influence skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
