Branding & Corporate Marketing Communications Manager - Borouge - Singapore


Job description
Reporting to the SVP Marketing and VP Global Communications, you will be part of the Global Communications team and you will be responsible for:
Strategy development and implementation
Develop global branding and positioning strategy
Develop key messaging and direction for Borouge’s communication and embed these throughout the organization
Direct and steer marketing communications strategies plans, activities, budgets in line with the overall Company and Marketing strategies and business plans
Align marketing centre (business units) communications activities with corporate positioning
Align corporate and marketing communications strategies with Borealis where appropriate
Devise communication policies and procedures
Contribute to overall Global Communications strategy development and group-wide projects
Corporate and Marketing Communication activities management
Develop and implement coherent and effective corporate and product marketing communications activities and initiatives
Provide a business value website and social media and digital strategy for the company
Lead global industry projects such as K-Fair, Chinaplas etc
Devise and provide corporate and marketing communications content for regional implementation
Ensure superior and accurate on-line and print communications for the Company
Ensure all communications are consistent with communication policies, guidelines and procedures as well as the Borouge visual and verbal brand identity.
Manage legal impact of corporate marketing communications and ensure compliance to trademark and visual identity guidelines, also ensuring proper protection and communications of product trademarks.
Create and monitor benchmark data and criteria.
Ensure management of expenditures against approved budgets and plans.
External relationship management
Build strong relationships with influential and important external stakeholders
Develop and maintain external supplier relations to ensure adherence to Borouge’s corporate identity and effective and efficient production of products and services supporting Borouge’s Marketing Communications activities in the region

Desired Skills and Experience
As a successful candidate, you should possess:
Experience / Education requirements:
University degree or above
10+ years of related work experience
Experience in marketing, publishing, PR, and/or communications
Experience in Business-to-Business industries
Skills / competencies requirements:
Excellent Leadership and team management skills; strategic thinker
Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
Excellent knowledge of communications and marketing
Understanding of petrochemicals, plastics products and industry preferred
Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills
Proficiency in English with excellent written and verbal language skills; second language preferred.
Excellent organizing, coordination and project management skills
