Job description
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and growing our book of discretionary Equity solutions. Being in a client-facing role and a key member of the Asian Equity Investment team, he/she will work closely with the local sales team and client advisers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality Equity solutions, often in a multi asset class context, thereby being a key contributor towards local sales ambitions. Being also a member of the Asia Fixed Income Investment Committee, he/she will actively contribute to client performance through close interaction with Portfolio Managers, Research and the UBS WM CIO. The role offers a great opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the Wealth Management business encompassing the entire front-to-back value chain as well as investment related topics.

Key tasks and responsibilities include:
Develop and pitch tailor made Equity portfolios in close cooperation with our local sales team primarily to UBS Wealth Management Ultra High Net Worth clients
Act as the subject matter expert for discretionary Equity solutions within UBS Wealth Management HK & SG through presentations, performance updates at all relevant internal and external meetings
Lead the retention of the existing book of Equity discretionary mandates via periodic client review and desk meetings
Act as a member of the IM Asia Equity Investment Committee and be responsible for client performance
Deliver high-quality and timely input for after-sales material and client communication
Manage relationships with key stakeholders, both regionally and globally, and leverage global Equity solutions for the benefit of Asian clients
Located in either HK or SG
Desired Skills and Experience
Our ideal candidate should meet the following prerequisites:

10+ years experience in managing Asian equity portfolios and/or Asian Equity Research
Ability to deliver clear, meaningful and well-structured information and complex messages convincingly and concisely
Excellent sales, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to coordinate across functions/locations and to make impact in global initiatives
Credentials in finance &/or economics (CFA, MBA, or similar) required
Client-focused, results-oriented team player with highest standards of ethical and professional behavior
Proven track record dealing with Ultra High Net Worth or Institutional clients in APAC
Ready to travel
