Position Summary
Support company objectives to increase Visa Debit activation, accelerate portfolio growth and drive client and consumer preference for Visa Debit products primarily through:
1. Working with selected key Visa Debit issuers across Asia-Pacific markets to:
a. Identify and develop strategic opportunities for Visa Debit portfolio optimization or new program launches.
b. Deliver dedicated on-site business support, knowledge transfer and advice to client senior management, business heads and Debit product team
c. Act as an embedded Visa product expert, managing the implementation of Debit projects in these clients’ organizations.
2. Working in concert with Visa Debit teams across markets to build a “Center of Excellence” Hub resource, including Debit portfolio performance assessments and synthesis of best practices and case studies across the Debit portfolio lifecycle.
3. Supporting, coordinating, and advising Visa Debit Product teams on priority cross-market issues (e.g. Debit product rules and requirements, other Visa policy changes, cross-regional coordination within Visa Inc., etc.)

Job Scope
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze market opportunities and key client portfolio performance in the Debit segment using Visa internal and external data; identify new business opportunities and areas for optimization in key client portfolios
• Evaluate a business case for DPM support for target clients; develop measurable business objectives and metrics, evaluate project costs and expected return on investment; secure approvals
• Develop and deliver DPM support proposition to client senior management; secure their engagement including mutually agreed objectives, timelines and resources
• Deliver DPM support to clients i.e. work on-site as the subject matter expert to implement agreed initiatives and deliver on project objectives.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer of best practices to the client Debit team
• Build strong working relationships with the client's team and management; ensure a seamless client experience and a high level of satisfaction with the project implementation and delivered results
• Manage the project budget and resources
• Collaborate with Visa in-market Sales and Product and Data Analytics teams across Asia Pacific to build a “Center of Excellence” Hub resource

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years’ experience with 3-5 years Debit Product experience. In-depth understanding of Debit portfolio P&L including cost and revenue drivers, portfolio management basics, customer segmentation and product development. Ability to understand and analyze card portfolio behavior data
• Solid Debit portfolio management experience in retail banking, preferably within the card business of a top-tier bank in a developed Debit market, with deep exposure to consumer card projects and proven track record
• Advanced client contact, engagement and communication skills.
• Excellent business analytical skills and strong business acumen
• Excellent project management skills
• Self-motivated, results driven, flexible, customer focused. Able to work under limited supervision / remote management
• Ability to spend at least 50% of time in Asia-Pacific markets on client projects
