The Analytics and Data Management (A&DM) Chief Technologist is the single point of contact to clients for HP client technology strategies, roadmaps, and transformation plans and will take ownership of opportunity analysis, solution development, competitive costing, commercial proposition integration and business case alignment of A&DM solutions to support client business and information technology environments.
Utilising your considerable HP product knowledge as well as your knowledge of partner and competitor products, you will have the opportunity to demonstrating an understand of the customer requirements & competitive environment, and by confidently articulating all aspects of the solution to persuasively communicate value to the clients in terms of financial return and benefits, and impact on their business goals. Through consultative & proactive positioning you will influence client strategy and shape deal Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements towards HP's strengths, and provide the business value selling expertise to Global Account Managers regarding business development and solution expertise.
Qualifications
Applicants will have a Bachelor of Information Technology/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study and 12+ years of Data Warehouse / Business Informatics (DW/BI) industry experience, with 5+ years in a senior regional technical sales or client advisor position, consulting on Big Data technologies and Integrated Information solutions and tools, including ETL, HAVEn (Autonomy and Vertica), Informatica, SAP HANA, Microstrategy, and other open source providers (e.g. Hadoop, Cloudera, etc.)
With demonstrable account planning and accurate account revenue forecasting skills, this is a great opportunity to establish and maintain positive relationships with our large account stakeholders whilst partnering with clients on their technology strategy.
