Job description
The Director Digital Distribution is responsible for sourcing and executing revenue-generating activities, business development, and customer management in the digital distribution space in the Asia Pacific region, with a focus on Southeast and South Asia (key territories including Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka).


This position will drive deal negotiations and manage customer relationships in the region, working closely with head office and other Paramount divisions and departments. This role supports both short and longer-term financial and strategic goals of the division, and reports to the Vice President, Digital Distribution, Asia Pacific and Latin America (based in Los Angeles).

Work on matters related to digital distribution licensees across varied technology platforms and networks, for transactional video-on-demand, pay-per-view, electronic sell through, device preloads, and other digital transactional media (current and emerging).
Develop and maintain strong relationships with digital distribution licensees, and be nexus of activity and communications resulting in strong account management.
Facilitate marketing, merchandising and promotional efforts aimed at maximizing revenue, timed with key digital launches, theatrical drafting opportunities, seasonal/holiday-based campaigns, bundling/voucher initiatives, etc.
Create product strategies for new distribution platforms.
Compile and track performance data of existing digital service launches, and develop ROI analysis for similar new opportunities and programs.
Develop, maintain and update sales materials for external customers and internal constituents.
Support business development efforts in Southeast and South Asia.

Desired Skills and Experience
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Digital content licensing or related experience in the Asia Pacific region.
Chinese Speaker
Team oriented individual with strong ability to bring multiple and varied agendas together, both inside and outside the company, to achieve goals.
Demonstrated project management and presentation skills required.
Frequent business travel within the region, as required.
Strong knowledge of key online/digital, telecom players in Asia Pacific region.
Knowledge of and strong interest in digital market trends and developments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Business-level fluency in Mandarin and English (strongly preferred).
Self-starter, with ability to work in fast moving, entrepreneurial environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel.
MBA (preferred).
