Job Description

Reports to:

CEO

Managerial Responsibility for:

Business Analyst & Project Manager (Design /  Refurbishment)

Scope/Goals of the position:

• Create awareness of the scope of operations of Heinemann Asia Pacific
• Build up far reaching network of potential customers/partners
• Help to establish Heinemann Asia Pacific to become a preferred player/partner within the Asia Pacific region

Tasks of the position:

• Conceptual support to the CEO/Management Team in formulating and implementing long-term growth strategies
• Direct acquisition of potential concession – and distribution partners
• Monitoring and analyzing the global Travel Retail Market concerning business opportunities and growth opportunities
• Development and implementation of optimal ways for market entry and operational models
• Coordination of strategic alliances  
• Development of proposals  and business plans
• Operational presentation and negotiation of tenancy agreements in the context of tender projects (esp. for concession agreements)
• Consulting services for investors in the context of Terminal-/privatisation projects
• Coordination of all BD-Activities within the Asia Pacific of Heinemann Asia Pacific

Interface to the following departments:

CEO, COO, CCO, CFO and Regional Directors

Desired Skills & Experience

• Senior level experience within the field (several years)
• Experience within the field of airport planning (aeronautical / non-aeronautical)
• Good project and time management skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Leadership and organizational skills
• Well trained presenter/speaker
• Team Player
• Able to build department from scratch “hands on approach”
• Hard working and goal oriented
