Director - Field Marketing - Zendesk - Singapore

Zendesk is seeking a spectacular Director of Field Marketing, based out of our Singapore office. Along with solid experience, we want someone who oozes creativity, vision and passion. Responsibilities:
Drive events strategy with primary objectives of promoting the Zendesk brand and developing new leads for the business

Plan and execute live tradeshows, roadshows, and casual meetups: research, negotiate, and contract for venues and vendors; drive pre-event promotions; manage on-site support, etc.
Own and produce a webinar series that delivers fresh leads and extends Zendesk’s thought leadership position
Identify new opportunities for Zendesk to sponsor and/or participate in 3rd party events
Report on event performance relative to stated objectives and defined budget
Some travel will be required with this position

Requirements:

5+ years events production and trade show management experience; preferably for a SaaS based technology company Experience with virtual events such as webinars and social media promotional activities
Demonstrated creativity to elevate participation in any prospect or customer event and capture the attention of attendees
Proven organizational capabilities to successfully execute a complex, multi-day, off-site event requiring coordination across numerous teams; ability to focus on details while prioritizing multiple simultaneous projects
Budgetary discipline to manage significant investments and focus resources to achieve maximum impact; experience with vendor contract negotiations
Ability to work with cross departmental teams and effectively manage projects that involve all levels of management and external resources
Outstanding communication skills – written, verbal, and presentation
Bachelors degree in related field
