The Role

The Director of EBSO and DevOps will be responsible for providing vision and leadership to ensure the efficient operation of EBSO, DevOps SQA, DevOps Integrated Services Group and Platform Team. They will be responsible for insourcing/outsourcing staffing strategy and responsible and accountable for building next generation support and delivery teams with automations as focus. They will also drive the mindset for faster and better customer experiences and focus on solutions that create a better customer experience through self-healing solutions. The Director will be overseeing front office (CRM) and back office (ERP) & reporting (Data Warehouse) support functions across different business groups.
This position reports to the Senior Director of Enterprise Ops and will be part of the senior leadership team in EIS.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
· Direct a 24x7 global team of 50+ employees and 50+ consultants
· Responsible and accountable for developing a strategic business plan for the EBSO & DevOps department that will meet current and future business goals of Integrations.
· Take Continuous Integration and Continuous delivery practice to next level
· Provides thought leadership in IT strategy, operations, cost optimizations, innovation and efficiency improvement.
· Support and optimize global Enterprise Applications Infrastructure for our internal operations.
What you need to succeed
Experience in managing global operations teams
5+ years of experience in Sr. leadership roles (Director, Sr. Manager roles)
10+ years IT experience
Experience in maintaining SOC & SOX and IT General Controls.
· Strong ability to lead, manage teams and motivate subordinates.
· Influence while maintaining positive business relationships
· Prior experience leading teams in Operations and/or testing enterprise software on various hardware platform and solutions
· Prior experience in large-scale system level testing with focuses on availability, reliability and interoperability across various top-tiered hardware, and operating system platforms
· Experience with Automation frameworks for API/UI testing preferred
· Strong passion and experience in delivering high-performance, enterprise quality software in Continuous Delivery fashion.
· Comfortable presenting to executive staff or leadership staff and advocating for the right outcome
· Solid understanding of industry best practices and standards around IT operations
