Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Global WG Leaders, Federation Partners & Theater peers to contribute to the strategy & thought leadership
for the Applications WG & Transformation WG
- Drive standards, methodologies, tools, functional and Practice related training
- Support GTM as a SME in Applications and/or Transformation related service offerings
- Qualify and develop delivery partners for Theater for Applications & Transformation WGs.
- Jointly evaluate and set Quarterly and Annual goals with Theater leadership
- Collaborate in the creation of the career path for member resources
- Ensure projects are delivered following quality standards and best practices
- Jointly attract talent and hire with Geo managers
- Drive thought leadership and work with GS Portfolio group to shape PS offerings
Critical Hiring Criteria
- Solid collaboration and partnership with Global Work Group Leadership and be seen as a peer to this group
- Ability to position, sell and deliver parts of IT Transformation and/or Applications modernization related opportunities
- Able to have strong interaction and influence with the Global Services Portfolio team and must have a seat at the table with
this group
- Leverages EMC talent to develop, promote and implement strategy and vision
- Executive presence, influence and ability to collaborate across the organization
- Internally and externally recognized as a key, influential leader and is seen as peer by Geo leads
- Recognized as subject matter expert in Apps and/or Transformation (internally & externally)
- Proven ability to define career paths and create an environment that fosters professional development
Desired Skills and Experience
- 15+ years of professional experience
- Proven experience as Partner or Executive in technical IT Services (e.g., Accenture’s Technology group)
- Demonstrates mastery of operating in complex, matrix environment
- Track record of delivering results and overseeing distributed groups-
- Broad IT consulting experience spanning from strategy through implementation of Transformational engagements including Application transformation preferred
