Job Overview
Function Vision Statement: The Global Enablement organization exists as a function within Concur’s distribution organization, to ensure that every field-based Concur employee is on-boarded in the most productive way to ensure that the revenue impact and/or customer success impact of their role is realized. The team also ensures that existing employees keep up with knowledge specific to their role (e.g. new messaging, value props, and product). The team is highly matrixed (by role, by segment, by theater) and cross-functional.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for supporting and measuring enablement readiness activities (training, learning, events, employee development plans, content management, strategic planning) and delivery of programs to assigned revenue segments and groups across a defined geographical theater.
Be aligned with leadership to fully understand organizational objectives, performance gaps, and planned initiatives so to proactively create and deploy approved training against such initiatives
Maintain training/learning content (modules, files, programs, systems)
Create & Maintain curricula for on-boarding and continuing education around Concur solutions, processes, methodologies, strategies, etc.
Understand staffing goals and coordinate appropriate activity
Evaluation
Administer and evaluate feedback from programs
Alignment with leadership to determine program effectiveness
Metrics
Develop approved metrics to measure program success against objectives
Provides status reports and metrics to manager as required
Delivery:
Deliver live and virtual training and learning programs, including but not limited to :
New-hire onboarding and indoctrination
Own the complete training event
Event and program management
Venue selection and coordination
Understand learning objectives
Develop appropriate agenda
Identify and schedule specific SMEs to deliver training material and messages
Operate within budget requirements
Effective use of personnel and fiscal resources
Effective strategic planning
Participates in launch and sales readiness teams and provides needed collaboration as required by the product management and product marketing groups
Project Management
Develop and manage assigned events (1 – 5+ days in duration) within budget requirements (training, kick-off, mid-year, account review, etc.)
Job Specific Specialized Knowledge & Skills:
May require up to 50% travel
Industry experience in Sales Enablement preferred.
3+ years of experience leading a team measured by Customer Success, Sales and/or Service.
7+ years of experience with demonstrated track record of success in a goal-oriented, highly accountable, installed base sales environment (SaaS, Cloud, or related software industry highly preferred)
Bachelor/University degree in related field or minimum 5+ years related-experience in job function and/or industry.
Ability to pass a background check

Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies to select methods for obtaining solutions
Receives no instruction on routine work and only general instruction on new assignments
