Job Description:
To lead the franchise development strategy across AMA that elevates, develops and delivers a seamless consumer experience in line with global brand standards and service levels to create a truly globally consistent image and experience.
To manage and grow effectively the franchise model to drive ROI & Revenue growth. This is a Pan brand role and covers all brands of LS & co. We are in the business of growth but through a strategic, well managed and executed process.

Key Responsibilities
With country leaders, develop franchise expansion map that builds a pipeline of grow on a rolling 3 years that maximizes the brand expansion footprint within each segment and product division.
Support and partner local teams in securing the right franchise partners and aligning commercial terms to the global franchise strategy. All proposals to be approved within the matrix inc Retail, Finance and MD. Scale of expansion by partners is an important metric for new partners.
Maintain strong franchise and market awareness of competitor’s activity and development to ensure Levis and Dockers remain at the forefront of the market expansion.
Establishes standard operating procedures for managing franchise partners via the global retail excellence programme( including VM) and ensure execution of plans with local teams through visits. Align to global retail operating model.
Build strong communication platform for franchise partners that ensures they receive all the tools required to deliver the Levis brand experience in store that raise brand equity and partnership approach.
Manages inventory recommendation together with planning and merchandise AMA to ensure maximum sell through and reduce left over inventory. Build commercial “flush” and outlet operating model to ensure continued relevance of mainline stores in each market.
Provide monthly senior management report on franchise business, results, progress, new developments and challenges faced, benchmarking performance and KPI to own and operated business.
Work with brand marketing to maximize franchise $ spend in line with market strategy.
Drive a strong results based culture through being “consumer obsessed “ in everything we do and creating the energy, motivation and challenge dynamics within the franchise division .
Leverage the global assets and tools to support franchise partners maximize their sales, operations and best practice in line with LS& Co requirements
Create a franchise “Give back” strategy within each community in line with Levis values.
Support Country Managers with new partners to ensure all new partners are well trained and prepared for opening stores. Build franchise capability to be self-sufficient within the brand framework and network
Drive performance across the franchise business by making recommendations for sales improvement using all available KPI data. Partner and work with local teams to build a robust promotional calendar aligned to the market owned and operated plan.
Ensure all new stores open on time to the right brand standards with Brand Experience teams and local resources. High quality execution is of paramount importance.
A member of the AMA Retail leadership team, this role champions the Franchise business with close links to the own and operated business sharing a platform of best practices and assets to create a solid and powerful synergy between our various channels of distribution.

Job requirements
Minimum Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Between 5-8 years in Franchise/Channel/Sales/ Operations with a fashion background
Preferably regional experience i.e ASEAN markets
Language skills relevant to market an advantage

Decision Making & Complexity: Business planning, financial modeling, contract management

Functional Competencies: Retail, Operations, Training, Finance, Franchise

Industry Preference: Branded Retail Franchise

Job Requirements :
Strong Negotiation skills with a high degree of commercial acumen
Well proven retail management and leadership skills across multiple sites/ countries
Business Development experience and strategic outlook across AMA region
Ability to transfer skills sets and best practices with great communication / gravitas
Orientation towards auditing execution against set standards e.g VM execution, retail service
