Major responsibilities
Achieve budget (target) revenue, margin, operating profit and market share, while maintaining healthy Channel Inventory and HP Owned Inventory.
Provide leadership and direction to support effective strategic and business planning, forecasting, and reporting processes for the PC business. Ensure key investments and resources (Contras, Marketing and Opex) are deployed to maximize ROI.
Watch: Career Advice Partner with Category Business Leader to drive business results to the goals, and make timely course corrections in line with business performance and external trends.
Review and authorize B2B contracts which are substantial in size and long-term in nature.
Purposeful collaboration with the Global Business Units, Country Business Teams, and Support Functions (i.e. Marketing, Sales Operations, HR, Supply Chain) in order to drive the business and functional agenda.
Demonstrate in-depth understanding of the business results and the external environment, ability to analyze internal and external trends and accurately forecast business projections.
Manage a team of 8 to 10 direct reports and provide leadership to the broader PC Finance team. Attract, develop and retain key talent to meet current and future business capability needs and develop succession pool for Individual and management roles. Inspire, create and ensure a high performance environment and teamwork mindset within the Finance community.
Ensure appropriate controls & processes are in place while driving process simplification and improvement, meet all controls and audit related metrics, proactively develop a strong open and ethical culture.

Qualifications - Experience
15+ years Finance experience with strong experience in P&L management support.
Proven experience in a finance leadership role or track record of operational delivery.
Demonstrated track record in successful financial management.
Solid reputation and credibility with business.
Strong track record in developing people.
Proven ability to manage a fast moving, market oriented and dynamic work environment.
International experience will be an important consideration.
More than 5 years of people management experience.
