Job Description

Senior Manager,HR APAC
Senior Manager, HR will be responsible fordeveloping and implementing human resource strategies and programs, andbuilding the HR infrastructure for TripAdvisor’s rapidly growing Asia Pacificbusinesses. This individual will work closely with the leaders of the APACbusinesses to design and implement employee relations programs, learning &development initiatives, and overall HR policies/processes, either specific forthese countries, or as part of corporate wide initiatives. He or she will alsopartner with US headquarters on adapting corporate wide programs in performancemanagement, benefits, compensation, and HRIS to local needs.


Responsibilities:

Provide HR counsel to leadership team for all APACemployees, including management coaching and leadership.
Partner with senior managers to develop andimplement strategies and initiatives relevant to driving their business goals
Work with management to assess employees’ roles andskills to ensure TripAdvisor APAC have the talent and development plans to meetthe needs of the business now and in the future Provide management coaching andrecommendations for development Assess and respond to employee relations issueranging from performance issues to complex investigations and resolutionAssisting managers and employees in understanding and applying TripAdvisor’s HRrelated policies and processes Partnering with business partners to ensureconsistent practices Partner with Legal, Accounting, Finance, and relevantbusiness areas at other TAMG locations on driving business needs/growth, andprocesses across APAC.
Ensure local and corporate wide benefit programs arecommunicated and implemented, so that benefits are well understood and smoothlyadministered
Special projects, as assigned

Requirements:

Regional Asia Human Resources experience required.
Minimum 5 years of Human Resources Leadershipexperience
Advanced training and experience in a rapidlychanging environment.
Experience working with a US or Europe headquarteredcompany strong preferred.
Strong understanding of employment law, andexperience with structured organizational and HR programs.
Exceptionally strong written and verbal Englishlanguage command
Strong communication skills while being culturallysensitive.
Ability to effectively build lasting relationshipsby demonstrating strong communication and influencing skills throughout alllevels of the organization.
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business,HR or related area
