Job Description

Major Duties
  • This is a senior level position responsible for driving strategic planning, development and implementation of world class integrated marketing communications programs that drive Logitech’s business’s objectives in the Asia-Pacific-Japan (APJ) region and strengthen the Logitech brand across product categories.  The role is based in Singapore, and reports into the Global Marketing Organization with a dotted line into the Director of Marketing for the APJ region.

    Responsibilities:
    Specific responsibilities include:
  • Work closely with Regional Product Managers and the Trade Marketing team and Global Marketing Organization to develop and execute an integrated strategy and plans across all consumer touch-points plans, including advertising, digital, PR, BTL and relationship marketing.
  • Adapt, roll out and implement global marketing efforts in the APJ Region.
  • Drive effective Media strategy/plans and implementation in collaboration with Global Marcom.
  • Consistently create marketing programs that are on time, on budget, effective and support the Logitech Brand strategy
  • Develop effective metrics programs.  Ensure that every campaign has specific objectives and metrics that are tracked and captured to insure ROI and new learnings/insights.
  • Based on Trade marketing plans, drive creative and consumer-metrics for in-store merchandising, in-store and online promotions.
  • Represent regional point of view in development  of  global creative
  • Lead global initiatives out of the region, working closely with the global organizations and other regions.
  • Manage regional agencies as well as global agencies based in the region.
  • Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company.
  • Participate in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people. Ensure budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.
  • Regularly interact with executives. Interactions frequently involve special skills, such as negotiating with vendors or management or attempting to influence senior level leaders regarding matters of significance to the organization.

Desired Skills & Experience

Position Requirements:
  • More than 10 years marketing experience including advertising, digital, promotion and in-store merchandising, with a focus on retail marketing (in-store and online).
  • CPG/FMCG experience with demonstrated ability to manage a world-class brand, develop integrated marketing plans, championing consumers and managing through key metrics is a must. Additional experience in Technology a plus.
  • Must possess a keen sense of measurement for all activities to ensure results meet business objectives.
  • Successful track record in working in a global, matrixed organization
  • Solid Media planning experience and experience in managing agencies.
  • Must be able to work with small budgets and drive innovative solutions.
  • Exceptional strategic, communications, presentation, interpersonal and team-oriented skills. Recognized as an influential leader.
  • Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to influence cross functionally.
