Collections Manager - Avaya - Singapore


Job description
This role will manage the Singapore Collection team and will report to the Director for Collections in the OEFC organisation for APAC, GGM & EU regions.
It has the following key responsibilities:
Management and Leadership of Collections Team based in the Singapore Hub
Ownership for operational targets on a monthly and quarterly basis as assigned for the regions/accounts in the total portfolio. These operational targets will include overall past due performance, aging profile improvement and bad debt exposure reduction
Management of the regions/customer portfolio and allocation of targets to the local team, supporting the collectors to adhere to targets
Implementation of a daily rigour to monitor performance against targets and drive operational improvements
Risk Management and ability to drive quality escalations to avoid action on customer accounts
High Level of Cross functional engagement to drive dispute management and timely resolutions
Manage Local Outlook Process for all targets assigned for consolidation in the International Outlooks
Active participation in the International Collection Management team including global standardisation and process improvements projects
Key Requirements:
Experience in a similar type role at a manager level in a multinational organisation
Demonstrated performance against operational targets
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels internally and externally
Good Analytical skills
Proficiency in SAP and Excel
Good Team Player
