Job description
Microsoft’s Global Search Display Services (GSDS) is looking for a highly motivated leader who understands Search and Display advertising as well as world-class telesales/service and operations/support management, has worked in WW roles, and wants to help build a successful global business with over $4B in revenues. As the APAC Lead for Regional Sales, Service and Support Operations, you will primarily be responsible for leading a team who provides service and support for small & medium businesses and key channel partners advertising on Bing and Yahoo! search.

You will work also closely with GSDS Headquarters in Redmond to develop and implement operational policies and processes in support of product releases. In addition, you will act as a vital liaison between partners, vendors, and operations teams to ensure we are solving broad advertiser problems as efficiently and effectively as possible. Finally, you will be a key member of the GSDS leadership team charged with building a world-class sales, service and support group that will directly impact profitability!

This position requires extensive cross-group coordination at all levels, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build compelling internal/external presentations and comprehensive business review materials. We are looking for a self-starter who can work in a rapidly changing industry, tolerate ambiguity and demonstrate problem-solving leadership with limited oversight.

Team Mission

The Global Search Display Services (GSDS) vision is to be the better online marketplace around the world. We will do this by:
•Increasing the volume of active long-tail advertisers in our advertising marketplace to drive the network effect
•Building and executing scalable/replicable systems/processes to maximize profitability
•Winning Share of Wallet via TLC (Trust, Leads, Convenience)
•Successfully orchestrating new market launches of the Bing Ads platform
•Relentlessly focusing on customers

Key Accountabilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•Managing a scalable sales, service operational hub to support Asia-Pacific sales and operations for search
•Acting as point person for key relationship with Yahoo! in support of the Search Alliance
•Managing a highly skilled team to drive results for customers and partners
•Developing bench strength by providing people with the right experiences, candid feedback, coaching, and training
•Preparing and reporting metrics that are critical in tracking segment performance, trends, and resource requirements
•Evaluating and improving current processes and tools used to support clients, sales, and partners across APAC and the rest of the organization
•Acting as liaison between the GSDS team and other groups within MSFT (e.g., A&O, SMS&P, DPE, OSD, etc.) in the US and Asia-Pacific markets
•Representing the needs of our region’s customers and internal users to inform prioritization of feature requests, enhancements, and software releases
•Managing vendor relationships as appropriate
•Some international travel will be required
