Manager - User Experience - StarHub - Singapore
Job description
This person plays an important role in support of the user experience team lead to deliver engaging user/customer experiences across different platforms. He/she will be at the forefront of global developments, identifying emerging trends with focus on the way people interact with computers/devices and innovative technologies.
Responsibilities
Deliver user experience research and design programs;
Partner business owners from end to end i.e. initial conseptualisation through to realisation, and beyond;
Curate and effect memorable, satisfying, compelling and engaging customer experiences across platforms – television (specific focus), web, phone & tablet;
Collaborate with StarHub’s analytics arm so as to devise actionable measures for continuous improvements on our products and services; &
Manage agencies in the delivery of user experience research, design and/or strategy scope of work.
Function as a virtual team member within project groups for the assigned line of business.
Proactively seek out and evangelise the concept of user centric design and development wherever and whenever possible.
Be at the forefront of global developments, identifying patterns and emerging trends with a particular focus on the way people interact with computers/devices and innovative technologies.
Desired Skills and Experience
Degree in human factors engineering, human computer interaction, experimental psychology, industrial / product design, digital / new media design, mass communication or a related field.
Relevant industry experience (telecommunications, media and / or technology).
5 years direct experience in user experience research and design:
Agency experience preferred; &
Interaction design or research experience with television platform will be ideal.
Well versed with leading user experience research and design approaches/methodologies.
Proven track record in delivery and implementation of user experience research and design outcomes.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Good project management skills.
Experience communicating with and influencing at the working level.
Fair grasp of brand management.
Fine verbal and written communication skills.
