Job Description

Chief Architects and Senior Architects operating as part of an Enterprise Architecture team within the BPEM & SAR BU, but also supporting the BFSI BU.

The role will include the following responsibilities:
For clients with an immature architecture function or limited architecture engagement with Wipro, the role will be to engage at CIO / CTO level to lead thinking in the development or transformation of the architecture function, and to build the architecture capability within Wipro and within the client.
For clients with a mature architecture function and good architecture engagement with Wipro, the role will be to sponsor the development and growth of the architecture function within Wipro and the client, engaging with CIO / CTO and Chief Architects, as well as engaging with senior business stakeholders to extend the influence of Enterprise Architecture within the organisation
Understand, define and capture the architecture of clients
Identify opportunities for transformational engagement with clients
Lead the architecture definition for major transformation engagements with clients
Define how Wipro propositions can be implemented within the client architecture.

Desired Skills and Experience
Skills and Experience:
Candidates will be architecture specialists, but with broad practical experience in programme and service delivery.
Strong Enterprise Architecture skills, including technical architecture and business architecture.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Deep understanding of the Financial Services industry.
Team building and leadership skills.
Programme delivery leadership and experience.
Service delivery leadership and experience.
Ideally a mix of experience in clients and experience in service companies / consultancies.
Ideally established industry presence, including publications and conference engagements.
20+ years experience for senior roles
Engineering/ Technical background with MBA desirable (not must).
Likely Background / Current Roles:
Chief Architects / Heads of Architecture in large Financial Services companies.
CTOs in medium sized Financial Services companies.
Practice heads in Enterprise Architecture functions within consultancy firm
