Director - Branding and Marketing Communications - Group Consumer - SingTel - Singapore


Job description
The Brand and Marcom Head/Director will manage one of Singapore’s oldest and most valuable brands in the Group Consumer division. With SingTel being the undisputed market leader, the incumbent will play an important role in SingTel’s transformation journey, together with a team of experienced and talented individuals

BRANDING:
Develop the SingTel brand mission, vision, value proposition, strategy and visual representations
Drive brand leadership and SingTel Brand development to achieve and sustain a shift to positive perception of SingTel
Implementation and execution of the SingTel brand strategy
Define and execute brand engagement activities
Develop/revise Brand corporate identity guidelines. Ensure that brand equity is communicated using consistent visual cues and messages across or ATL and BTL materials
Oversee the overall group brand strategy
Manage and negotiate master contract agreements with media agencies and media channels

MARKETING COMMUNICATION
Oversee Group Consumer advertising strategy Singapore
Responsible for the overall branding and marcom of postpaid mobile, fixed line, mobile broadband, home broadband as well as bundled offers
Responsible for ATL, BTL and events. Direct, coordinate and execute communication marketing efforts in the Group Consumer Group Singapore
Creation and execution of world class communication campaigns supporting delivery of SingTel’s business objectives
Manage and monitor the use of the marketing communications budget to ensure effective use of resources and returns
Evaluate the most effective marketing communications media for the various products
Manage relationships with advertising agencies and media owners to leverage costs and optimal value creation for SingTel

Desired Skills and Experience
Degree holder with min. relevant 15 years’ of experience working in a large corporation or MNCs and at least 10 years in senior position in a marketing environment.
Competent and experienced in marketing, brand management, development and brand research
Sharp Business acumen with excellent interpersonal, facilitation and communication skills
Excellent organizational skills for key events eg press, launches or sponsorship events.
Good knowledge of telecommunication products and services is an advantage.
Strong leadership qualities – able to motivate and develop staff - at least 10 years in supervisory capacity leading a fairly large team of professionals/executives (approx. 20)
Experienced in managing multiple agencies
Passion for brand and marketing communication.
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation capabilities
Solid in managing budgets and willing to explore new ways to bring smarter and better communication.
Challenger mindset, dynamic and proactive with a drive and commitment suited to a fast-paced environment
