Director - Enterprise Business Development Operations - Autodesk - Singapore
Job description
• Direct a 24x7 global team of 50 employees and 50 consultants responsible for the enterprise business support and DevOps organization supporting ERP, CRM, AWS, BI, Web and database platforms.
• Manage an annual budget of ~15 million USD
• Direct teams that provide administration, advanced support, Operations, System SQA and Platform Operations for integrated SAP, Siebel, SalesForce, Informatica, Business Objects, Tibco and custom web service implementations that are hosted both onsite and remotely
• Responsible and accountable for developing a strategic business plan for the EBSO & DevOps department that will meet current and future business goals of Integrations.
• Identify and establish strategic relationships with vendors
• Take Continuous Integration and Continuous delivery practice to next level
• Provides thought leadership in IT strategy, operations, cost optimizations, innovation and efficiency improvement.
• Develop long term vision of technologies and solutions. Collaborate with IT leadership in strategic planning and implementation of technology roadmaps.
• Prepare system development cost estimates, budgets and schedules.
• Build relationships with business units to establish technology needs, system enhancements, and support.
• Provide excellent systems availability and technical operations.
• Support and optimize global Enterprise Applications Infrastructure for our internal operations.
• Take a leadership role in setting vision/strategy and goals, and translating the company and EIS objectives into meaningful goals for the teams
• Ensure initiatives meet objectives through establishing effective org structure and efficiently leading operations
• Build, mentor, motivate, and manage the EBSO & DevOps group towards high productivity, teamwork improved group competency and further growth
• Drive implementation of test automation in enterprise software to improve coverage and time to market
• Work closely with standing teams to determine roadmaps, quality criteria and quality metrics
• Coordinate cross functional initiatives, proactively identifying dependencies and driving issues to resolution
Competencies/Minimum requirements:
• Experience in managing global operations teams
• 5 years of experience in Sr. leadership roles (Director, Sr. Manager roles)
• 10 years IT experience
• Experience in maintaining SOC & SOX and IT General Controls.
• Strong ability to lead, manage teams and motivate subordinates.
• Work effectively with managers and teams across other geos and time zones
• Influence while maintaining positive business relationships
• Excellent interpersonal and communication and strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment with employees at all levels.
• Prior experience leading teams in Operations and/or testing enterprise software on various hardware platform and solutions
• Prior experience in large-scale system level testing with focuses on availability, reliability and interoperability across various top-tiered hardware, and operating system platforms
• Sharp, analytical, highly motivated
• MS in Computer Science or equivalent Engineering field or equivalent work experience
• Experience in a global software development product company
• Experienced in software testing and management fundamentals (software development life cycles and quality processes, scope, cost, schedule, deliverables, change management, risk management)
• Experience with metrics & RCA programs a plus
• Experience with Automation frameworks for API/UI testing preferred
• Strong passion and experience in delivering high-performance, enterprise quality software in Continuous Delivery fashion.
• Demonstrated ability to understand deep technical issues as well as complex partner/competitive ecosystem
• Advance skills in finance, leadership, people leadership, communication, influence and conflict resolution
• Comfortable presenting to executive staff or leadership staff and advocating for the right outcome
• Proven track record recruiting and retaining top talent
• Capable of organizing and managing multiple projects, setting priorities and working independently under aggressive time-lines and date-driven schedules, in dynamic and fast-changing environments
• Ability to drive problem-solving strategies for complex problems that involve cross-functional disciplines
• Solid understanding of industry best practices and standards around IT operations
