Position Summary
Direct Expert Sales, Commercial Products is required to develop Visa’s business within the areas of Travel & Entertainment, Small & Medium Businesses and Business to Business payables & receivable’s with Banks, Travel and other vertical aggregators & technology partners, as well as with Large Corporates & the Public Sector in Singapore, Malaysia & Thailand (SMT)
To drive and execute commercial product strategies in Singapore, Malaysia & Thailand in an effort to achieve the key performance indicators as agreed with the Country Managers. A primary focus is to engage key issuers in the market to develop agreed strategic initiatives of the commercial products portfolio and to identify expansion opportunities for Visa in SMT.
This role will be tasked to help achieve the SMT Commercial Products P&L objectives. The position will also be tasked to lead specific regional Expert Sales initiatives that support Visa’s Asia Pacific's business and revenue goals.


Responsibilities
Lead the further development of Visa’s Commercial Products offering including training issuer product and sales teams, & share best practices
Develop Visa’s brand position and key differentiators in the marketplace, while maintaining close links with International and Global subject matter experts.
Manage the interaction between Visa sales and commercial clients in deal positioning, compliance to contracts and fulfillment of product implementations for clients.
Execute TMC (Travel Management Company) Strategy across the region
Manage Major Regional TMC Relationships and deliver on TMC specific growth targets.
Build new relationships with Top-Prospects client banks

Qualifications

Professional

Business/Marketing degree with 10 - 12 years industry experience, preferably in Commercial cards or Transaction Banking
Business degree/MBA

Technical

Sound knowledge of banking and payment card systems and processes
Posses knowledge in Commercial and/or Commercial cards, payment industry
Strategic planning, project management and communication skills, customer centric focus
Negotiation skills, keen analytical skills, strong relationship management skills.
Experience with data management / expense management systems

Business

Product management experience in payments/ financial services industry
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills. Negotiation and business development skills
Posses C-level sales and marketing experience, multi-level stakeholder management experience
Confidence and ability to influence and negotiate.
Entrepreneurial, self-driven, team player.
Knowledge of VisaNet, commercial payments
