Job Description:
This role will be a key part of Tableau’s high growth and fast paced environment, proactively managing, coordinating and executing operations for APAC.

Work With All Departments To Support Growth And Operations In APAC, Including
Manage communication and execution of priorities for all of operations in APAC, including customer operations, legal, human resources, recruiting, information technology, workplace and finance. Ensure that priorities are aligned with in-region managers/departments, in-region sales leaders and global leaders/departments.
Host regular collaboration sessions including, but not limited to, all of the parties noted above.
Creatively communicate to teams and individuals in ways that move teams toward progress, encourages teamwork and builds trust.


Drive resolutions to day-to-day questions, issues and needs, providing real-time guidance and ensuring collaboration with teams in other regions when applicable. Provide response/acknowledgement immediately, whenever possible; ideally within 24-48 hours.
Operate as an escalation point to business partners for quote-to-cash operations and ensure compliance with published sales and business approval policies, including but not limited to:
evaluating customer inquiries with/for customer operations team
reviewing ad hoc quoting and deal structures with/for finance deal review team
proactively identifying and participating in resolutions for issues that need attention
Act as the local resource engaging the Global Real Estate team on long-term space planning, leasing, workplace strategy, design, major capital projects, budgeting, and other regional or global initiatives.
Review regional financial results and provide insight, deliver recommendations and actions for improvement and present information to key parties.
Proactively identify areas where departments can better support APAC and propose ideas and solutions to those who manage these areas.
Create and compile analyses as part of ongoing assessments of our business progress and needs.
Work with procurement, sales and marketing leaders and operations teams to support APAC vendor management, ensuring the business is receiving the highest level of customer support.

Who you are…
Experienced. E xtensive & progressive professional experience and proven track record of success in operations management for an Asia-Pacific region with US headquarters. Experience in fast-paced, high growth environments.
Domain. University degree. Technology industry experience preferred. Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
Demonstrated leader. Proven leadership skills in developing, directing, organizing, managing, coordinating and monitoring processes. Ability to manage organizational change and ambiguity, resulting in effective and timely decisions that will often have high impacts throughout the company. Inspires confidence and engenders trust by consulting and building effective working relationships with team members across a variety of locations and functions.
Passionate and simple. Relentless desire to continuously improve our operations whilst keeping them as simple as possible.
