Roles & Responsibilities
Inventory & Availability
Using all available data, manage systems & intelligence to achieve KPI targets for availability, product waste and customer fulfilment
Oversee the forecast and demand planning process across all Redmart Inventory-holding products
Work collaboratively with Merchandising team to effectively plan seasonal and promotional events to maximise operation and maintain customer service levels
Identify overstock and clearance stock, effectively manage weekly ‘customer sales’
Optimise ordering and stock holding for short-life, perishable products, as well as long-lead-time Imports products
Supplier Relationships
Building strong trading and supplier relationships, managing the delivery performance of the supply base through effective reviews and SLA management
Work with vendor partners & RedMart Operations team to optimise Inbound logistics flow from order placing to stock putaway.
Team Management
Manage the Purchasing team (Demand planners), helping to automate, streamline or improve work processes
Identifying opportunities for process change, communicating these ideas & implementing them effectively
Technology & Systems
Work with Technology teams to scope and build automated ordering system through forecasting and demand planning software.
Launch supplier portals and automate supplier communication.
Desired Skills and Experience

Experience
8-10 years experience in ecommerce operations and inventory management
Proven track record at delivering improvement projects and implementing process and product developments
