Job Description:
The Data Center Solutions business is looking for a Business Development Director to join the team based in Singapore.
The purpose of the role will be to generate new critical engineering business in the data center market on an ongoing basis, and support organic growth within existing business streams. This is an exciting opportunity to help drive growth to the Data Center Solutions business. An enterprising professional is likely to excel in this role given their ability to take initiative.
Reporting to the Managing Director some of your key tasks will include;
Promoting Data Centre Solutions as a Global Brand within CBRE both in terms of CE and ICT
Generation of pre-qualifications
Tender document preparation, ensuring the tender adds value and exceeds the customer needs
Commercial overview
Site surveys
Labour loading
Sub-contractor procurement and management during the tender process
Customer negotiation and contract closure
Desired Skills and Experience
Candidates must have experience at Business Development level within CE technical services. A general understanding of ICT is desirable. Candidates with a background in operations, business development and background in selling services will be highly regarded. An understanding of data center solutions or facilities management will be highly regarded.
Candidates must be able to drive growth to the business and demonstrate motivation and influencing skills. As a role model for customer service you will have a vision and be a strong communicator.
This role would be best suited to someone with Business development skills, ability to sell services for the data center solutions business and a drive growth. Entrepreneurial qualities are ideal.
