Job Description:
Lead the development of an overall marketing strategy for assigned areas of responsibility. Manage and direct assigned aspects of Global Marketing's service delivery.
Responsibilities
Manage staff in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable legislation. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance and guiding professional development; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing employee relations issues and resolving problems. Approve actions on human resources matters, including salary administration.
· Effectively manage team resources and delegate tasks commensurate with skill level. Evaluate workload and quality through regular review.
· Lead development of Global Marketing strategy for assigned areas of responsibility and implement objectives, as appropriate. Ensure staffs have a consistent understanding and positive impression of business strategy for assigned business stream and global objectives. Lead strategic initiatives and develop implementation plans.
· Evaluate program results against financial, share, acquisition and retention objectives. Provide modifications and recommend actions as needed.
· Establish standard processes to build consistency and efficiencies.
· Direct external agencies as appropriate.
· Continually assess the competitive landscape and look for potential opportunities and trends. Identify new and improved products and services. Evaluate, review and make recommendations.
· Utilize information from shared services and other functional groups to plan, build and monitor programs.
· Assist global head of Marketing to develop consistent brand value proposition and messaging.
· Serve as a member of the Global Marketing Leadership team.

Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred, with at least 15 years of demonstrated marketing experience and proven success or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
· Strong staff management skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple teams
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as editing, proofreading and project management experience
· Excellent MS Office skills
· Demonstrated command of the principles and practices related to marketing on a global scale
· Strategic thinker with ability to execute the operational aspects of marketing, including marketing plan development, creation of sales tools, promotions, and collateral development
· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
