• Run projects linked to the strategic intent of the LEGO Group market organisation
The MCD department (global Market and Commercial Development) is responsible for:
• Uplift and continuously develop the LEGO Group’s sales and channel capabilities to world class within the consumer goods industry (beyond toys).
• Ensure a strategic prioritisation of new market roll-out coupled with a consistent and systematic RTM implementation approach.
• Engage in the Business Planning process as well as strategic projects linked to the strategic intent of the LEGO Group
The participation and / or lead of strategic projects that are tied to the overall LEGO Strategy and that go across the Market Management Development (MMD) organisation - an important element will be the responsibility of delivery and the cross fertilisation of learnings across the Market Commercial Development (MCD) department as well as across market regions. Responsibilities: • In close collaboration with the markets and corporate functions lead and facilitate key strategic initiatives
• Represent the MCD department in various internal initiatives and work streams
• Participate in the LEGO Prioritisation Group (LPG) process and secure the link to the MMD organisation

• Be a valued and important stakeholder in the MMD Business Planning process
• Secure high delivery of strategic projects across MMD with a clear link to the strategic intent of TLG
• A significant step change in best practice sharing across the business
Challenges
• Mastering collaboration across a MMD organisation that is regionalised and has a high degree of autonomy
• The need to create a coherent and consistent approach globally vs. a fragmented market group approach (current)
• Address the difference in capabilities across BU and regions
Additional Requirements
• It is important that the candidate has shown strong collaboration and stakeholder management
• An established track record of delivering on strategic projects
• The right candidate has at least 7-9 years of relevant experience from an international company or similar experience from a top-tier management consultancy
• Advanced English (oral and written) is a pre-requisite.
• Master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Sales Management or similar
• This is a global role so significant travel is expected
