This role leads the strategy for, and the production, design and distribution of, all digital products for international Catalyst commercial clients. They are measured on; digital pitch conversion success at maximum net revenue for CNBC, client-satisfaction / client KPI achievement, and repeat clients at increased net revenue.
Digital products include: CNBC.com, CNBC Mobile, social and other CNBC owned digital platforms. This role also incorporates the creation of bespoke and white labelled digital products (microsites, hubs, apps, native, rich media, etc…) for clients.

The location of this role could be either London or Singapore.
Qualifications/Requirements Responsibilities:
• To work with the international Catalyst sales team to set the strategy for the development of digital products that will generate maximum net revenue for CNBC CATALYST. This strategy will be set based on market demand and anticipation of future demand - paramount in digital where utilising the latest design, production and distribution techniques are key to converting business

• Working with the Digital Commercial Manager and external resource (freelance and agency), they will design, produce and lead distribution of all digital products (commercial banner creative, special digital content (hubs, microsites) both commercial and sponsored editorial (not including editorial journalism)

• They will be a central part of the client pitching process through; Ideation, presentation and then budgeting of digital solutions.

• To work in a collaborative way with internal digital resource in CNBC & NBC Universal in the US

Requirements:
• Extensive expertise in digital solution design (aesthetic and user experience) development and production across a wide variety of production methods in media / publishing

• Technical experience and working knowledge of Javascript / CSS3, jQuery, SVG and HTML

• Experience with XML, RSS and JSON

• PHP, SQL and server administration knowledge

• API experience with social networks, mapping and analytics products

• Experience of various Content Management Systems

• Strong leadership and management skills for internal and outsourced teams

• Powerful collaboration and influencing skills. This role requires interaction with a wide a variety of internal (US and International) and external teams and partners, often with tight deadlines and regularly requiring an innovative/new approach

• Excellent project and budget management skills to ensure both pitch-work and sold business are delivered to the client (and sales) agreed KPIs

• A passion and deep understanding of the fast-changing digital advertising and partnerships market

Qualifications
• Digital Design (aesthetic +/or UX) related qualification (Degree level or equivalent)
• Marketing / Media / Advertising qualification preferred
• Business education preferred
