We are a game-changing company that allows users to request quality, on-demand car service with a touch of their smartphone. We are in over 85 + cities worldwide, including over 17 cities in the APAC region, with plans for rapid growth in the APAC region in the next two years.

We’re disrupting the transportation world and with that comes the need for more legal clout. We are currently searching for a Corporate Counsel -Transactions, with expertise in business, commercial and technology transactions to join the Uber Legal Team as we scale nationally and globally. WHAT YOU'LL DO
Work closely with the Business Development, Product and Engineering teams on transactional matters
Lead from beginning to end the review, drafting and negotiating of a wide variety of contracts
Provide creative legal solutions for business, commercial and technology-focused deals
Assist with other corporate transactional matters from time to time, including corporate and real estate
Continually review and analyze legal risks for Uber nationally and internationally

WHAT YOU ARE
8+ years law firm experience at mid to large size law firm; in-house experience a plus
Legally qualified to practice law in at least one jurisdiction
Substantive knowledge and expertise in business and technology transactions
Strong academic credentials and law degree from a top law school
Enjoy working in a fast-spaced environment for a company with operations around the world
Fluent in written and spoken English; language skills in additional Asian languages preferred
Excellent business judgment, communication and interpersonal skills
Interest in expanding scope of your practice to other areas of law as part of a growing legal team
