Global Security Architect - IBM - Singapore

Role

The architects in the global practice should be technology and solution advisors with pragmatic experience in a particular security domain. These architects will act in many ways as technology consultants that can speak to the security landscape, architectural models and solutions credibly, and possess the ability discuss and present to senior members of a client team. The architect needs a depth of knowledge and experience in one of the core security domains: Identify and Access Management; Application and Data security; Infrastructure and Endpoint; and Security Intelligence / SIEM. The Security architect should also be able to speak to the breadth of the landscape at an introductory level as well. The architect will provide subject matter expertise through delivery of workshops, as a member of consulting engagements, an as leader on solution design and deployment projects. The architect should be versant in solution design methodologies (e.g. SDLC type of approaches) and have the ability to generate high quality artifacts such as requirements artifacts, high level and detailed designs and deployment plans.

•Depth of knowledge in one or more of the core security domains: GRC, IAM, Security Operations, Application, Data or Infrastructure, Mobile Security
•Experience in the design and deployment of technology and solutions in one of the core domains: Identify and Access Management; Application and Data security; Infrastructure and Endpoint; and Security Intelligence / SIEM
•An understand across this breadth of technology domains, understanding the inter-relationships between major components.
•Solid understanding and experience working a structured solution design methodology

The successful consultant will be internal advisor to other IBM consultants and client teams. The consultant will assist in pre-sales, sales, closure, and then organizing the delivery of security consulting services with local teams.

Required Skills

Experience working across diverse teams to facilitate solutions
Experience working with Security practitioners
Experience in working international deployment roles

Preferred Skills

At least 5 years experience in professional services focused on systems integration
At least 5 years experience in working within a particular security domain

Required
Bachelor's Degree
At least 3 years experience in architectural level design in a particular security domain.
At least 3 years experience in working in a professional services firm focused on systems integration projects.
At least 3 years experience in working in projects related to the core domain.
