Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate person to assume the role of Director to lead the team and direct the budgeting planning and buying/merchandising activities. This is a strategic role, in a fast-paced and growing business where you will oversee inventory planning and maximise product performance. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and analytically-minded person who is organised and can fit in with a positive and successful team.

Responsibilities:
Manage the buying department and team
Drive initiatives to improve quality of buying decisions
Lead and own the buying planning process
Responsible for sales and in-season stock management

Desired Skills and Experience
Requirements:
Having 5 to 7 years of working experience in a top retailer or FMCG company will be a bonus
Having fashion/apparel experience is a plus, but not a must
Having e-Commerce experience is much preferred
The person for this role should have managerial/leadership skills as he/she will lead a team that is larger than 5 people of varying background
IT literate with strong understanding of MS Excel
Advanced data tabulation and analytical ability
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Driven and determined to achieve results in a fast paced, start-up orientated working environment
