Global Employee Mobility Team
Cisco is recruiting for a talented Head of Employee Mobility leader to drive the Global Employee Mobility agenda in the Asia Pacific, Japan, and Greater China (APJC) region.
Reporting directly to Katherine Avery Marrufo, Director, Employee Talent Services, the Senior Manager, Employee Mobility, APJC role is critical to Cisco’s success and partners closely with business leaders and functions in key areas. Employee Mobility is a critical component of Cisco’s talent strategy to maintain its leadership position in the competitive technology sector and to create a culture of talent development.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in the Employee Mobility transformation, building and aligning a talented team of Mobility Managers to support Cisco’s transformation and growth in the APJC region.

Role & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will create and execute Cisco’s Employee Mobility strategy and priorities in APJC. Additional responsibilities include:
• Connect critical talent plays and develop opportunities with Employee Mobility solutions for APJC.
• Work closely with Cisco’s HR organization to determine key talent pools for next gen capabilities to support the workforce planning in the APJC organization.
• Build a high performing team that reflects the next generation Mobility capability model for Cisco – focused on consulting.
• Meet critical Employee Mobility KPI’s and play an active role in running Mobility like a business.
• Work with peers to enhance Cisco’s end-to-end Mobility strategy, tools and processes, ensuring that all efforts and deliverables are aligned to business requirements and outcomes.
• Proactively build, nurture and sustain partnerships across key stakeholder groups.

Minimum Qualifications
• The ideal candidate will have 10-plus years of global Employee Mobility experience. Prefer experience in a Big 4 consulting firm or large multinational company where strategic leadership, including senior management influence and matrixed leadership.
• A track record of creating and leading an innovative, end-to-end Employee Mobility strategy and organization aligned with strategic business needs.

• The successful candidate will have a proven track-record of demonstrating contemporary Employee Mobility thought leadership, especially in the areas of tax planning, cost projection and budgeting, tax equalization and protection, vendor management, payroll reporting, cross border cross charging, business travelers, immigration, compliance, and Mobility systems and related metrics/analysis.

Desired Skills
• Global knowledge and/or experience of working across multiple borders. Operates with a global mindset, ideally in a large, complex and highly matrixed organization.
• Demonstrated success in building and collaborating with an extensive network of direct and matrixed stakeholders. Ability to partner across various functions, developing strong working relationships with clients, employees and colleagues.
• Knowledge of Employee Mobility systems, social media, models, methodologies and operations.
• Demonstrated discernment about the commonalities and differences in the value propositions, strategies, tools, processes, resources, KPIs, SLAs between non-executive and executive Mobility.
• Prior people management experience is required.
