Job description
This role carries P&L ownership and requires an individual with significant influence and gravitas who will represent a unifying and compelling vision for the continued advancement of the Healthcare Software & Solutions organisation.
Understanding the complexity and nuance of driving a complex entity with multiple interacting parts of the organisation and functional distinctions within a major global organisation, they will take full accountability for engagements with the Healthcare sector.
They will work closely with other members of the senior leadership team to establish the strategic direction of the global healthcare organisation, serving as the senior Healthcare Software industry representative for the Asia, Middle East & Africa business.
With executive accountability for leading the company's efforts in providing Healthcare Software & Solutions to organisations across Asia, Middle East & Africa, they will manage a full lifecycle organisation and drive the R&D, Implementation and Customer Support.

Establishing, developing and managing operational and functional teams, they will leverage the company’s reputation and capability to ensure successful execution across the client portfolio.
Ensuring the development of a full service model and taking overall accountability for the management of the Healthcare client portfolio, they will draw upon extensive leadership capability and general management skills, in addition to a deep understanding and appreciation for the Healthcare sector. Providing inspirational motivation and hands-on leadership across business functions, they will contribute significantly across all functional areas in order to ensure the success of the Healthcare business.
Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
 Take full accountability for all activities relating to the Healthcare Software & Solutions business in Asia, Middle East and Africa, overseeing the organisations development and growth, and ensuring due diligence processes and policies are fit for purpose.

 Direct and lead the Healthcare Software & Solutions organisation's policies, objectives, and initiatives; partnering with organisational peers to leverage the full capability of the wider enterprise to maximise success of the business.

 Take responsibility for the overall strategy, profitability and organisational development strategy across resources; providing visionary leadership in the bringing together of functionally diverse resources to galvanise a seamless, world class, Healthcare Software & Solutions organisation.

 Leverage a deep understanding of the software solutions arena and subject matter expertise of the Healthcare market sector to drive the success of the business.

 Align the organisational structure to ensure utilisation of best practises and roll out of quality and productivity initiatives focused on maximisation of productivity and speed of delivery.

 Drive the implementation of leadership processes which highlight and guarantee accountability of all resource within the organisation for the success of the business.

 Take ownership for Asia, Middle East & Africa Healthcare Software & Solutions operations; maximising decision making agility and streamlining processes and activities whilst ensuring quality of market proposition.

 Mobilise effective utilisation and strengthening of processes across functions, operating with an executive perspective to manage operationally diverse resource and functions of the business in setting and defining strategy and driving business growth.

 Foster an environment of continuous improvement, where processes are continuously challenged throughout the enterprise, accelerating progress at every stage.

 Work with other members of the executive leadership to develop collaboration with cross-functional business units which utilise the strengths of the provisioning.

 Utilise experience and creativity to provide genuinely innovative thinking, significantly impacting the organisation in terms of innovative strategy and organisational development

Desired Skills and Experience
Education
Individual will preferably be educated to Bachelor’s Degree or Masters Level but suitability may be supplemented by business experience.
Experience
 At least 10 years’ experience in executive line management positions within the commercial Healthcare IT solutions industry with an emphasis on Software & Solutions offerings.
 Clear visible track record of successfully and profitably leading a Healthcare Software solutions business, while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.

 Deep exposure to the Asia, Middle East & Africa Healthcare arena, and awareness of the IT solutions utilised within that geography.

 Strong P&L track record and leadership skills and demonstrated ability to attract, build, mentor, and direct a high-performing cohesive team that can effectively develop and deliver profitable solutions.

 Demonstrated ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation and to enlist support and commitment from peers in developing and delivering Software solutions.

 Thought leadership based on expertise in the Healthcare Software Solutions industry.

 Passion for building a winning organisation and holding a leadership position in the Healthcare arena is essential.

 Capable of blending a genuine presence and gravitas with excellent communication skills and a willingness to be highly visible within the organisation and the wider market.

 Demonstrated ability to be highly successful in both large corporations and smaller enterprises, with the capability to aim high but execute autonomously.

 Capable of quickly becoming familiarised with an organisations political and cultural sensitivities within diverse lines of business.
