ABOUT THE PRACTICES:
ERM has experienced strong growth both globally and in the Asia Pacific region over the past five years and is now in a position to leverage that growth to diversity the company’s service delivery in the field of Performance & Assurance (P&A) and Transaction Services (TS). The company’s P&A and TS Practices cover the following service lines:
EHS due diligence for acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, joint ventures, IPOs, and property sales and leases
EHS due diligence for project finance including Equator Principle reviews
EHS Audit - Performance Based Auditing including compliance audit and audit program development
Safety Programs - Safety transformation and coaching based interventions
Management Systems and Compliance Support – including performance based assessment and compliance assurance
Sustainability Reporting – including development of sustainability reports and provision of data assurance
Client Training Programs - Accelerative learning, high impact, tailored EHS training
Product Sustainability Services - Including product certification and litigation support
ROLE PROFILE:
Develop and implement strategic business/action plan, provide leadership, and deliver financial results to grow opportunities across ERM’s PATS business lines.
Identify and develop new opportunities, prepare effective technical proposals, and take active leadership role in the development of new business with new and existing clients.
Manage large/ complex client programs/ projects on time and to budget including profitability and health and safety aspects
Capitalize on existing client relationships to expand ERM’s profile and market share in se Asia’s PATS market (through a combination of excellence in technical delivery and business development).
Direct and develop complex PATS projects involving multi-site portfolios and multi-person project teams locally, nationally, and globally.
Work with clients to find solutions to various environmental, health & safety issues.
Lead, manage performance, hire and retain, inspire and mentor personnel for overall success of local practice team.
Collaborate and coordinate with ERM offices in the Americas, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Middle East & Africa regions.
REQUIREMENTS:
This position offers fast-track career development potential for a motivated self-starter with strong technical, people management, and client interaction and development skills.
This position will be based in Singapore or Indonesia.
BS in engineering, science, or related discipline; professional registration preferred.
Minimum of 15 years’ experience managing and/ or providing consultancy in Environment, Health & Safety Programs
Proven business development experience with strong commercial skill
Well versed in environmental risk, environmental compliance, health & safety compliance.
Possess fundamental working knowledge of EHS auditing
Excellent writing, communication, strategic thinking, and “people” skills.
Recognized technical expertise by the marketplace
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
