Job Description:
This position is the execution leader for the Boeing Fleet Technical Operations and Boeing Technical Operations Center teams [rsb1]in a scheduled airline operating environment. Successful applicants for this position will have held previous assignments in operational leadership positions in airline technical areas such as Technical Services, Engineering or Maintenance/Technical Operations.

Line Maintenance execution

Maintenance Control
Typical duties will include: oversight of Maintenance Control, Line and Base maintenance operations, monitoring of deferred defects and rectification plans, liaising with customers’ MRO provider on scheduled and accomplished work, preparation of visibility material and key metric tracking, resource allocation and monitoring and AOG support
Coordinate Boeing Fleet Technical Management resources for service delivery to the customer to include Technical Services, Maintenance Planning, Materials and Maintenance Control
Direct the activities of the staff of Fleet management services group at the location to ensure all maintenance is performed in compliance with Regulations and Boeing Fleet Management policies
Responsible for ensuring, along with Quality, that all Aviation Regulations and Boeing Fleet Management's technical policies are satisfied
Apprise the Executive Leader of any issues that may affect safety, quality, cost, or schedule of Boeing Fleet Management aircraft while in vendor maintenance.
Program customer interface
Performs functions of a typical airline maintenance execution leader in support of the program P&L objectives.
Provide support as to promote personal and professional growth and performance of the Fleet Management Staff.
Provide leadership, administration, and direction to the Customer's aircraft maintenance execution
Assist in development of new or revised Boeing Fleet Management value solutions, policies and programs as required to achieve Boeing Fleet Management objectives

Willingness and ability to make decisions and work in a fast paced, demanding environment
Education
Engineering or Aerospace related discipline or equivalent experience and education
Minimum 12 years of commercial airline experience in Technical Services, Technical Operations or Engineering with working knowledge and understanding of planning and executing commercial airline Technical Operations
Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in Technical Services, Technical Operations or Engineering
Preferable - SAR 66 or equivalent license holder with either 747-400, 737, 777 or 787 type rating. Minimum of 5 years of experience in one or more type.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
