Job Description:
The Director of Marketing & Communications is responsible for developing marketing and communications strategies, both external and internal, and implementing all marketing and communications programs throughout the Southeast Asia region in support of business goals.
Brand and Trade
Work closely with the Head of Products to develop and strengthen Southeast Asia’s portfolio of brands and conduct on-going analysis and tracking of brand performance.
Drive development of central off-air creative, including brand campaigns, tactical ads and marketing collaterals.
Ensure brand accuracy across all marketing projects.
Plan and manage the central marketing budget.
Oversee trade marketing activities and sponsorships.
Communications
Develop content communication strategies across all platforms that will enhance and build our brands, image and position with the trade audience, media and the general public
Coordinate all talent requests and manage talent needs on-ground
Plan and manage the Southeast Asia communications budget
Desired Skills and Experience
Minimum of 7 years professional experience in the marketing or communications field, ideally in the media sector
Minimum degree certification or equivalent
Excellent written and spoken communications skills
Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities
Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and personal sales skills
Experience managing budgets, and hiring, training, developing, supervising and appraising personnel
Demonstrated successful experience writing press releases, making presentations and negotiating with media
Experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications
Ability to manage multiple projects at a time
