Job Description:
Provide strategic trade marketing directions to the product division trade marketing team. This would include both Channel trade marketing as well as Retail Management & Operations
Understand current trade issues for the product division and develop country “go-to-market” strategies covering “where to play”, “what to play” and “how to win” strategies and plans
Work closely with the Product Leadership team, mainly Product Division and/or Sales heads, Product Marketing and Corporate Marketing to indentify trade (channel/customer) priorities which will result in coverage & distribution leadership, improved in-store presence, stronger strategic trade promotions and strong partnerships with key customers which will ultimately result in market share growth.
Lead in Shopper & Retailer (working with Market Intelligence) base approach to driving success at retail using category, shopper & retailer insights
Analyze channel sell through and trade plans / promotion results across the country and work with channel trade marketing manager, product marketing, sales & finance to implement improvement plans that will lead to trade spend optimization
Identify and implement key KPI metrics for measurement of efficiency and resource allocation to improve return on sales investment support.
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree or Master's Degree in Business Studies/ Administration/ Management, Economics, Finance/ Accountancy or the equivalent
More than 10 years proven Trade Marketing experiences or at least, responsibility for strategically leading business opportunities through, channel / trade analysis and implementing strategy for action.
Comfortable with business travel
