The Director of Sales & Marketing is responsible to lead all sales, catering and marketing activities; Reporting directly to the General Manager and working closely with the hotel Director of Revenue.
•Prepare yearly marketing & promotional plan, sales activities including overseeing sales missions
•Liaise with AccorHotels Regional & International teams to identify new revenue opportunities.
•Need to be strategic thinking by market segments; understanding seasonality and lead time.
•Prospecting new accounts, support the team portfolio growth and have a strong regional network.
•Good understanding of distribution & connectivity, GDS and other sales tools (PMS, salesforce)
•Represent the hotel at International tradeshows, roadshows, social events and support regional sales initiatives.
•Be a strong leader for the team & support their professional development with training
•Be results driven with KPI’s, sales targets, ROI and conversion rate.
•Be creative, enthusiastic and guest satisfaction oriented.
- Minimum 3 years experience as Director of Sales and Marketing of large mid or upscale hotel
- Strong leadership to drive the room catering and communication teams
- Sound knowledge in Revenue Management and Sales Distribution
- Excellent English proficiency, as well as communication and presentation skills
- Extensive professional net working, also with media
- Degree in hotel management or business development will be an advantage
