Scope
Determine account focus and coverage models along with deal structure and pipeline management. Directs the operations and activities of the Partner Sales function, providing strategic direction. Requires detailed functional knowledge, in-depth company knowledge and overall business knowledge around security software and services solutions. Working with extended team mates, makes decisions, develops and implements policies that affect areas with partner sales, the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region, the CBU and the company. Builds team of sales and sales engineering professionals that are able to operate in a team-oriented environment. Responsible for forecasting and results management for assigned territory
Responsibilities
Lead the Consumer Partner Sales team in the APJ region, being directly responsible for the overall bookings for the business managed, exceeding target quota and managing within budgeted expenses.
- This position manages through subordinate management staff and will have a blend of individual contributor direct reports and dotted-line team members.
- Works directly with the global and regional VP to assess state of the business, obtain high-level corporate objectives and goals, and communicate strategic direction to sales force.
- Develops senior-level executive relationships in the APJ region with top OEM, sXP and new channel partners.
- May also take on global responsibility for special projects (example: mobility sales).
- Personally manage the relationship with selected strategic partners
- Global accounts: coordinate the global business plan for selected global accounts
- Working with other sales organizations, product management, engineering, eCommerce, marketing, finance and legal, ensure that there is continued alignment around approaches and strategies
- Forecasting and results management should be operationally sound

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent
- MBA preferred (but not required)
- Bilingual and bicultural (English and Mandarin)
- General management experience key due to the range of channels and partners serviced
- 10 or more years of strategic sales account management experience at a senior level, consistently exceeding revenue expectations within an international sales and marketing-driven organization
- Demonstrated understanding of and experience in product/solution selling processes, sales strategy, channel sales, sales forecasting, and pipeline development
- Demonstrated experience cultivating deep, proactive understanding of customer and consumer demands and needs across an extended value chain
- Experience growing and leading a team of high achieving sales professionals
