KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

This is a senior position that involves entrepreneurial leadership, analytical thinking, and creative instinct. Success in this role will require deep segment knowledge, an understanding of QlikView’s differentiation, and strong sales and marketing skills.

The incumbent will have accountability surrounding the strategy for communication of the QlikView value proposition for the Manufacturing segment, initiatives and programs to create interest, demand and recognition for QlikView and its proposition throughout Asia Pacific. The objective of ensuring that QlikTech maximize upon their opportunity and that QlikView gains greater market share and dominance.

The Market Development Lead for Manufacturing will work with the global QlikView Manufacturing team to lead and manage not only the go-to-market strategy, but also the tactical execution to further penetrate key target segments through collaboration and coordination with Sales, Alliances, Field Marketing, and Product Marketing ensuring QlikTech are successful in achieving their planned business goals and growth.


Contribute to the Manufacturing segment go-to-market strategy and business plan
Execute the Financial Services segment development plan across regions by delivering on license revenue targets
Engage in consultative sales support with select customers and prospects regionally
Define key solutions and positioning of QlikView within segment
Create suite of segment specific sales enablement materials
Collaborate with and support Field Marketing with integrated marketing campaign to develop the Manufacturing segment
Coordinate with Alliances in defining and developing the Partner Ecosystem to support the Manufacturing segment
Build brand awareness and recognition through Manufacturing segment specific Analyst and Media engagement

Qualifications

Educated to Degree level
MBA advantageous

Languages
Business level English mandatory
Other relevant languages would be an advantage

Experience (technical, commercial, industry / product / functional expertise, etc.)

15+ Experience in software/technology sales and marketing
Experience in the Manufacturing sector and well connected in vertical
Experience of marketing solutions into Enterprise, midmarket, and small organizations with an understanding of vertical and functional business issues
Proven track record of aligning Marketing with Sales with tangible success, i.e. tangible growth, lead and revenue generation achievement
Track record of contribution to revenue growth and expanding the foot print in the Manufacturing market
Track record of successfully creating alignment with sales and influencing across a matrix organization
Appreciation of the subtleties of a global marketing organization, e.g. developing a reusable framework across different markets, verticals sectors, and business areas. Also appreciates and pragmatic when a localized approach is sometimes required
Applies and observes tangible measurable outcome to marketing
Track record of providing significant contribution to business growth whilst marketing and thus having made a real difference through a tangible and integrated marketing approach
Will have considered our Client’s business, its market, its business model and how you can make a difference to the success of the business and region the incumbent is responsible for
This position can be based in key business locations in Asia Pacific and will require medium level travel (approximately 7-10 days per month)
