Facebook is seeking an experienced Strategic Partner Development Director to initiate, structure, and negotiate high-impact strategic partnerships. This role includes a broad range of potential partners in the entertainment vertical including media companies, publishers, public figures, agents, talent mangers, publicists and event organizers, etc. The Strategic Partner Development Manager will ensure that these relationships meet the strategic objectives of partners and Facebook.

Responsibilities
Prioritize business development and partnerships opportunities through analysis and deep understanding of Facebook’s product roadmap
Identify strategic partners, educate them on Facebook’s platform and technology, manage its implementation and optimization
Track, analyze and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partner relationships
Work cross-functionally at Facebook on partnership opportunities to maximize impact
Proactively resolve business issues with partners and be an internal advocate for the partners
Establish creative relationships with high-profile public figures and collaborate on how best to utilize Facebook and Instagram to engage with fans
Generate case studies and best practices
Requirements
Fluent in English and ideally proficient in one to two Asian languages
BA/BS degree and MBA would be a plus
5-7 years of work experience in the relevant industry
Business development experience negotiating complex media or internet deals and experience in digital distribution/acquisition experience in a senior position
Deep knowledge of the regional entertainment landscape and strong industry connections
Passion for Facebook and proven track record in launching successful integrations
Team player with excellent project management experience, with the ability to lead and handle multiple time-sensitive and cross-functional projects
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and communicate at all levels of management, both inside and outside of Facebook
Demonstrated ability to think independently and strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans
