Job description
As a Marketing manager, you are a fully dedicated business leader, shaping the future of one of our many Google products. Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (AdWords, AdSense, DoubleClick, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a loyal consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. The role enables you to shape the product development process, organize product launches from beginning to end and form future marketing strategy.

As a Field Product Marketing Manager you are responsible for defining and executing campaigns, advertising, events, partnerships, content and more to drive pipeline and lead generation in your local market. You will partner with the global team to help define strategy and GTM to help increase awareness and adoption of Google Cloud Platform for developers, IT professionals, and Business Decision Makers of services like Google App Engine, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and more. You will have the opportunity to be part of a small, fast growing team and help usher in a new era of cloud computing. You will partner closely with the local Enterprise Marketing and Cloud Sales team to massively scale your efforts. Responsibilities
Own overall pipeline and online business for your market
Drive localized content, campaign execution, customer and partner engagement
Partner with the broad Enterprise Marketing team to scale Cloud Platform efforts locally
Work with ISVs, Startups, Fortune 500 companies.
Manage local influencers and relationships. Overall accountability for local execution
Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
Computer Science or development experience; comfortable talking about technical things with technical people and able to express complex concepts in plain language to reach broader audiences)
Experience planning and executing multiple, complex marketing programs including budget management
Conversational knowledge of platforms like Python, PHP, .NET, Java and Cloud technologies like AWS and Windows Azure
Experience in the business technology market and expertise in working closely with an inside sales organization to drive demand. Excellent quantitative reasoning, creativity and strategic skills
Familiarity with website analytics, CRM systems (Salesforce.com or similar) and tracking tools to assess campaign effectiveness
Strong project management skills and experience, including managing external creative agencies, events vendors, and international projects
