FX Relationship Manager – Client Management - American Express - Singapore


Job description
This individual will be responsible for all aspects of account activation and management for new and existing International Payment clients in the Singapore market. The FX Relationship Manager is set tangible goals directly linked to overall business profitability and exists in order to provide a dedicated point of contact for our small business and corporate customers to engage with the International Payments business.
Accountable for pro-actively managing an individual portfolio of between 200-300 new and existing SME clients
Handle a mix of both incoming and outgoing calls in order to facilitate daily transactional flows for customers
Direct point of contact for all day to day account servicing queries including (but not exclusive to) trade quotes/confirmations, chasing outstanding quotes & forwards, client payment queries and investigations
Liaise with Sales, Operations and Dealing functions ensuring day to day business requirements are being met
Adherence to all KYC policies to ensure transactions are completed in a controlled and compliant environment


Desired Skills and Experience
Degree/diploma qualified in a financial/business discipline preferred but not essential
Excellent customer service & communication skills with the ability to quickly form strong and lasting relationships
Strong interest in the economy and financial markets
Strong PC skills, including Excel
Proficient conversing in both English & Mandarin will be needed to liase with clients (dialect also desirable though not essential)
